Beginners FUNdamentals: A 6 Week Program

Learn yoga at an easy-to-follow pace as you get familiar to common yoga poses, increase flexibility, build strength, and improve your balance in just about 30 minutes per day.

  • Required Yoga Props: Yoga Essentials (Mat, Blocks, Strap)

  • Beginner | 3 / 5 intensity | 30 mins/day | 3-5x/week | 6 Weeks

  • Progression: Complete each workout in the cycle once; repeat 2-4x.

A program covering a variety of yoga styles and flows, to develop overall strength, flexibility, balance, while also helping you to get familiar with the most common yoga postures.

Learn proper yoga breathing, improve flexibility, develop core strength, learn how yoga supports you in managing stress, feel better about your body, and improve strength and balance.

This program has a cycle of 15 classes and you want to do them in order. Repeat this cycle - in order - at least twice (this makes it 6 weeks), and up to four times.

Beginner’s FUNdamentals is an ideal starting point for somebody who is easing into a yoga program and has a goal of developing strength, flexibility, and balance, but might be intimidated by a more intense program. This is great for beginners as well as the experienced yogi new to 2B Yoga.

What’s helpful about the Beginner’s FUNdamentals program is that it includes a mix of power and restorative yoga. There are yoga flows for things like self love, both sun and moon salutations, as well as yoga to develop core strength and core awareness, practice and improve your balance, and you’ll begin to understand how you can use yoga to relieve stress - both mentally and physically.

These yoga flows address common beginner interests and challenges, including:

  • Learning proper breathing techniques and applying it to yoga
  • Understanding how to safely stretch and work into your flexibility
  • Developing core awareness and learning how to “engage your core”
  • Increasing flexibility to help release tension in the low-back, knees, and shoulders
  • Building strength and muscle activation for safe, effective exercise

Beginner’s FUNdamentals is a great next step up from the Basic to Bad B Beginner’s Program that precedes it, but even if you’re not perfect with the yoga the first time through - and remember, you probably won’t be - we’re confident that you’re definitely ready to move on to these flows.

Go through Beginner’s FUNdamentals to continue to deepen your yoga practice and to get your body feeling stronger and better than you ever thought possible with yoga.
