Explore Series: Beginner 1

Experience a variety of 2BY yoga classes and reinforce a consistent yoga habit. Yoga Flows are mostly on the shorter, less intense side.

  • Suggested Props: Yoga Essentials (Mat, Blocks, Strap)

  • Beginner / All Levels | 3 / 5 intensity | 5-20 mins/day | 7 or 4 days per week

  • Progression: Complete each yoga session in the Program once.

An all-purpose series for beginners that explores a variety of Members’ Area yoga classes. Try out different styles of yoga and wellness routines as you cover different topics, learn new things, and practice new yoga postures.

Each week includes:

-- 5 shorter, less intense yoga classes

-- 1 higher intensity 15-minute routine

-- and 1 low intensity, 20+ min restorative routine

An all purpose series that takes from several of the smaller Series on 2BY. The yoga sessions are on the shorter, less intense side and serve as a showcase of the variety available in the on demand library.

Day 6 of each week is a higher intensity session (4 or 5) that is 15 minutes long. The aim of these is to get you comfortable with a higher intensity of work. You are encouraged to take breaks as needed and to use props when the situation calls for it.

Day 7 of each week is a slightly longer (20-30 minute), but low intensity restorative session. It's easy to forget that lower intensity yoga serve a necessary purpose in maintaining your overall wellbeing. You need to rest in order to heal.

People can be scared of high intensity work and dismissive of restorative routines. The point is to try what's available and give you the impetus to try things that you would have otherwise ignored. Find what works for your body and physical wellbeing.

And don't be afraid to try new things!
