Rest & Recover VIRTUAL
THU NOV 13, 5:30 - 6:30 PM EST (THU NOV 13, 5:30 - 6:30 PM EST)

A 1 hour Yin Yoga practice to rest, restore, and recharge the mind, body, soul - especially for women of color.

You will need a variety of yoga props like pillows or bolsters, blankets, straps, and blocks. Although this class can also be done without props, they are highly recommended.

Most of this class happens lying down on the floor. In a yin class, you'll hold fewer poses for longer. So we'll do 5-6 poses and hold each pose for 2-7 minutes on each side. It's truly a self care treat and the perfect way to wind down your work week.

This class takes place every Thursday at 5:30pm EST on zoom.

Instructions and Zoom link for joining will be in the confirmation email. All levels are welcome.

You can:

--drop into this class in person or on Zoom

--take this class as part of the 6 Week Challenge

--become a member and this class will be included in your monthly membership

Replays are not included with Zoom live classes. You can find the entire library of replays inside the 2B Yoga on Demand Library.

336 775 7313

*Our sign on Reynolda Rd. isn’t very big.  18 Springs is listed among many practitioners on a large brick display that says 2422 and 2424 at the top.  You may not see it until you get quite close.

FROM POINTS SOUTH ON SILAS CREEK :

Take Silas Creek Parkway to the intersection of Reynolda Road.  You are facing the entrance to Wake Forest University.  Turn left on Reynolda Rd.  Pass the Entrance to the Reynolda Business Center and BB&T on your left.  Look for Henning Street on your left.  Turn as if you are turning into Henning, but instead make a U-turn on Reynolda Rd..  Take a right into the second driveway, after the 18 Springs sign.  We are the second house back- a one story brick house with big windows.   You will see 18 Springs on the building.

FROM POINTS NORTH ON REYNOLDA ROAD:

Driving south on Reynolda Rd., cross over Polo Rd..  Cross the bridge over Silas Creek Parkway.  Look for Henning Dr. on your right.  Pass Henning and then turn into the second driveway on your right, after the 18 Springs sign.  We are the second house back- a one story brick house with big windows.  The house is marked 18 Springs.

FROM POINTS SOUTH ON REYNOLDA ROAD:

Coming north on Reynolda Road from town pass Reynolda Village on your right.  Come through the light at the intersection of Silas Creek Parkway.  You will see the entrance to Wake Forest University on your right.  Pass the entrance to Reynolda Business Center  and BB&T on your left. Look for Henning Street on your left.  Turn as if you are turning into Henning, but instead make a U-turn on Reynolda Rd..  Take a right into the next drive way, after the 18 Springs sign.   We are the second house back- a one story brick house with big windows, marked 18 Springs.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE MAKING U-TURNS:  Turn into Henning.  Follow to the end of the road and take a left.  Follow this drive past a dumpster, around to the left and up a small hill.  You are coming around the building from the back.  Come around the left of the small brick house with big windows (that's us) and into the parking lot in the front.

You can also come around the back by going through the parking lot of Reynolda Business Center, which can be accessed via Reynolda Rd., or when heading north on Silas Creek Parkway.

ABOUT ASHLEY

Hey Boo! I'm Ashley, a yoga instructor and wellness coach who blends mindfulness with a little bit of hip hop vibes. I work with women 40 and up who feel overwhelmed, stressed, and stuck in a cycle of trying to get healthier but struggling to stay consistent. Through my programs, I help them build sustainable yoga and wellness habits that boost their energy, relieve stress, and fit seamlessly into their busy lives—all while having fun and feeling empowered in their bodies.

2B Yoga began after I noticed the lack of representation of black and brown women and curvy bodies in yoga and wellness spaces.

Through 2B Yoga, I offer a safe space for healing and transformation for women who often feel unseen in traditional wellness spaces.

2B Yoga is a space where you can simply be. No code-switching, no explaining, no shrinking herself. Just freedom to move, breathe, and release.

It’s not just yoga—it’s belonging and community. It’s a place where you can finally exhale and pour back into yourself.

It isn’t just a yoga class; it’s a community sanctuary where you can drop everything and show up fully.
